Addie at 2 months

Here's Addie at 2 months! She had so much hair we had to have some fun with it. :)

All bundled up for a cold April day

Here's Addie after her baby blessing, using the same dress my mom made for me when I was blessed. :)

Here's our bundle of joy as a fruit bowl

Addie: 1 month old

Here's Addie 1 month old, a very typical scene of the early morning wake up, where she is wide awake and ready to start the day, while the parents could use a couple more hours of sleep. :) We were pretty lucky though, because Adelaide usually only woke up 2 times during the night and would go right back to sleep. At 2 months we discovered a great little thing called a "kiddopotomus" which swaddled her tight and got her to sleep until 4:00 AM! It was amazing!

All about Adelaide

So, I realize I haven't updated my blog since last year... so I'm finally getting back in gear. lol. A lot has happened since the last time I wrote- we got a puppy, bought a new car, bought a house (not new), I graduated from BYU, etc. etc. But the most exciting is that we had a little girl! Adelaide Diane Costello was born on February 10th, 2009, weighing 7 lbs 11 oz and 19 in. long. She came a week late and I still had to be induced, she was just too comfortable where she was and wasn't in any hurry to leave. After about 4 hours of labor (yes, I used an epidural and was very thankful for it), she was born at 1:15 PM. She has brought so much joy and love to our lives. This is Addie at 2 weeks old

Fishin'!

Kris and I have taken up fishing! I went for the very first time a few months ago and we've been a few times since, including today. I caught a bass and a big fat catfish, so I was pretty excited about that! Kris caught a catfish too, but I tend to outfish him, which he says is beginner's luck (but is simply skill ) ;). Anyway, here's my prize fish!

Camping Trip!

There's nothing like a little fresh air and a nice campfire. :) A few weekends ago, we decided to take the opportunity to use our new tent to go camping up Spanish Fork canyon. We had a blast. Everything was going great, until we tried making tin foil dinners. For some reason, we never knew that you're not supposed to put them right in the center of the fire...so we had charcoal-flavored potatoes and spam. YUM!! Fortunately, we had extra granola bars, gummy bears, and the ingredients to make s'mores. :)

Work work work

We're now both officially employed. Lindsay's working as a CNA with Maxim Health care, and Kris is doing technical support for xactware. Forging ahead in life you might say. We're both doing just fine with school (Lindsay's LOVING memorizing every prescription drug on the market) and everything seems just peachy. We're not even tired....
